New to Christian Union? You may find our ‘I’m New Here’ page more helpful.
Who We Are
The UWA Christian Union (we call it ‘CU’) is a Guild club of over 100 students from lots of different churches who join together to proclaim Jesus as King and support each other in living for Him.
CU is about delighting in the forgiveness that comes from Jesus’ death in our place. It’s about hanging out with friends, spurring each other on to live for Jesus, and inviting others to join us under His loving rule. In other words, CU is about being a Christian at uni.
Whether you’ve been a Christian for years or are investigating Jesus for the first time, we’d love you to join us.
CU is a student club and is student-run, in partnership with a staff group. Find out more about this partnership here.
CU is also part of a wider body of Australian Christian university students called the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES), who you can find out more about here.
What We Do
CU runs a number of events, mostly on the UWA campus, to best fulfil our mission and serve God and our campus. Our main events are our Public Meetings and Small Groups, but there are plenty more. You can find out about all of these on our events page.
We also run an on-campus Christian group for international students called FOCUS (Fellowship of Overseas Christian University Students). They have their own website, which you can see here.
