Leadership

We are a Guild-affiliated, student-run club, led by a student committee, which is elected each year by the CU student body at our AGM. The direction for each year is set by the committee, and the majority of general decision making also falls to them.

The CU leadership group also consists of senior and trainee staffworkers, who aid the committee in implementing their plan for CU; helping with the day-to-day running of CU, providing solid Biblical teaching and mentoring students in following Christ. The senior staffworkers are permanent employees of AFES, and have all done theological training. The trainee staffworkers are at UWA are usually trying full-time ministry for the first time, and are on a two-year ministry apprenticeship with MTS.

Some areas of what we do as a club are organised and led by student workgroups, who work under the guidance of the committee and in co-operation with the committee and staff. There are workgroups responsible for our Public Meetings, our evangelistic missions, this website and connecting with Christians on campus.
